Our Process
The Landscape Grading Process
We use specialized equipment to reshape your terrain, creating gentle slopes that look natural while performing essential drainage functions.
Step 1: Assessment
We walk your property to identify problem areas—low spots where water pools, high spots that create drainage issues, and areas near the foundation that need special attention.
Step 2: Topsoil Removal
We carefully remove the existing topsoil and set it aside. This precious resource is full of seeds and nutrients—we save it for the finish.
Step 3: Grading & Shaping
We grade the subsoil to create proper slopes, typically sloping away from the house at a minimum of 2% grade (about 2.5 inches per 10 feet).
Step 4: Topsoil Replacement
We replace the topsoil, spreading it evenly to create a smooth, fertile bed for new sod or seed.
